Countdown to Battle #2: Bring the kids, too

We're ready to rock 'n' roll at Sun Valley Jams tomorrow with our second Battle of the Bands. The stage is set, literally. All eight bands are ready to entertain you for a few hours.

Bring your lawn chairs and your blankets. It's general admission, and it's lawn seating. Make sure you get there a little early to plant your flag in a good spot. Gates will open at 2 p.m., the first band will take the stage at 3 p.m., and the last note will be played sometime around 11 p.m. The concession stand will be open the entire time. We'll have plenty of fresh sandwiches, barbecue plates, hot and cold snacks and drinks for the adults and the kids.

Come on out. Bring the whole family. It's $10 for adults at the gate, $8 if you want to BUY NOW through PayPal. Kids 15 and younger get in for free.

AND we'll give the first two dozen kids 11 and younger who come into the park something to practice with to get ready for Battle #3 next month. What kid won't have fun with one of those? We also have microphones for the more vocally inclined.
