Time to stop messin' around. Pull on your best boots, grab that 10-gallon hat and put on your best partyin' mood: Tommy T & Rebels on the Run are comin' to town.

Tommy "Tommy T" Bommorito has been performing on stages around the St. Louis area for a long time. He started playing the drums around the age of 2, he said in an email last week, and joined his uncle's country band when he was 9.

By the time he was 13, he said, he was hitting the skins in Soulard with the Soulard Blues Band, Dutch Schultz and a host of other acts. He began playing guitar and singing in his late teens, eventually forming his first country band at age 20. He eventually met bass player Keith "Spleech" Ochs, who has been with Tommy T in and out of several bands for a few years.

Rebels on the Run started getting people dancing about a year ago. Denny "The Reginald" Johnson heard a song by former Tommy T band Southern Whiskey and moved north from Florida to hook up. Drummer Darren "Freight Train" Crocker answered an ad about the same time.

Other than the Rebels Facebook page linked above, Tommy T is active on Twitter and Google Plus. The band has four studio tracks at ReverbNation and this long-form video from last summer on its YouTube channel:
