SVJ Marketplace: Signature Retro music system with turntable

Signature Classic turntable hi-fi stereo systemTired of playing those great old songs in the stereo of your brain while all those vinyl LPs sit collecting dust? If so, this is exactly what you need.

Consumer-electronics manufacturer Electrohome is offering a 15% discount this month on this retrofit record player. The Signature Retro music system -- $199.99 full-price, $169.99 with checkout code SAVE15 -- looks like a classic tube radio but actually is a feature-rich hi-fi stereo system.

The system includes an AM/FM tuner, a CD player, a 3.5-mm auxiliary input and a USB jack. It has a built-in digital encoder so you can convert the music on your vinyl to MP3 files directly to a memory stick or media player without going through a computer.

The wood cabinet houses four speakers for full hi-fi sound.

Electrohome sells three other record players ranging in price from $99.99 to $149.99 ($84.99 to $127.49 with the discount). Also offered through the company's website are a few vinyl LPs, a jukebox, some clock radios and some karaoke equipment along with assorted accessories.

The 15% discount is site-wide.
